Hi, my name is Julie, and I started this project in the fall of 2012. It started with an idea for a gift and blossomed into Everyday Warmth. For every scarf that I gift or sell, I make a scarf to donate. To start out, I contacted the coordinator of the “Helping Hands” ministry at my church, and she is distributing my donated scarves. I am thrilled to have found a way to share my talents and time!! My own blog is called “Embrace the Everyday” and so I decided to call this project the “Everyday Warmth” project.
My first donation was 6 scarves, and I already have more ready to go!!
When I announced what I was doing on my blog, I was contacted by some of my readers about them doing something similar, so I created this site to share what we’re all making! I hope you’ll join us!!
